Lepus have been awarded the Peter Schaffer Award amongst a number of excellent companies who are also developing new work. The award is to develop new, original plays, for more than 3 actors.

This award will allow Lepus to develop their next project with writer and composer Martin Green. An award that intentionally allows us to think big is a very rare thing these days - so we are really appreciative of the recognition and support like this.

"In nurturing talent from across the UK, this partnership will continue Sir Peter’s legacy, inspiring and supporting emerging talent."

– Rufus Norris, Director of the National Theatre

It will provide resources to work with more creatives to develop some bold ideas for audiences to enjoy in the future -  make sure you're signed up to Lepus mailing list and our socials to find out more about the development and the project.
